Update and Happy Holidays!

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a nice (or, as nice as it can be) holiday season. I'm more excited for the new year than anything else, haha. I've made it my resolution to finish Book 2 of this series and do another Kickstarter in October! It's a little optimistic but I'd like to try :)

As for an update, 75% of you have filled out your surveys! Yay! I'm delighted to see so many people requesting me to draw Scarlet in their book, they're my favorite <3

A reminder that the survey will lock and cards will be charged on January 5th. You have until then to fill them out or change your shipping address! If you have issues with not finding the survey, check your spam folder then feel free to shoot me a message ;0

There's also a preorder store in case someone you know missed out on the kickstarter but still wants a book! That includes the digital copy as well. The link to that is here.

Books are here!

And they are taking up most of my room hahaha, it's so worth it though. There's some more pics on my twitter if you want them.

I'm still waiting for all the merch to come in, but in the meantime, I think I'm finally ready to send out the backerkit surveys! They'll go out sometime next week and include a preorder store with add ons, including the digital copy and the extras. Please keep an eye on your inbox for them, and they'll be available to fill out until early January. 

After the survey closes, I'll send out all the digital rewards :D

Beyond excited to get these into your hands!! The text came out a little bit big, but I've been told it's easier for people to read so it should be okay haha.

Shipping Updates and some other stuff!

Hello everyone! Happy December :D I've got a lot of stuff to update you guys on.

1. Everything is ORDERED! I got my manuscript back from the line editor and spent forever putting it into InDesign, I'm really happy with how it turned out! However, in my excitement, I totally spaced on giving you guys the option to change your names for the backer credit in the back of the book :( This means whatever name you backed the kickstarter with is the one that went in the book. There will be an option to change it for the ebook version in the survey, sorry!

2. There will be an extremely limited number of physical copies to purchase as add-ons during the survey. This is in case you wanted to buy one for a friend or if you know someone who missed out. There will also be the option to purchase the ebook as an add on for 5$ !

3. People who backed at the Digital Copy tier will get the 'Previews' bundle for free! The Previews bundle will be available as an add-on and includes the first chapter of Book 2, as well as a short story about Rei's older sister that takes place before the first book. This is about 10k words worth of content! You can read a preview of the short story here, no spoilers for the main book!

4. If you purchased a signed copy, you'll be able to pick which character I draw and also who to make out the signature to.

5. Finalized shipping prices are as follows:

North America (USA, Canada, Mexico) 7$ usd

Everywhere else: 20$ usd

Adding physical extras to your order may change the shipping price!

6. Surveys will be sent out soon! You'll be able to fill them out and buy from the Pre-Order store until January 5th. This is also your chance to change your address!

Hi guys! Just wanted to keep y'all updated on what I'm doing.

I got the funds from Kickstarter into my account and immediately paid all my lovely artists. Once again here's their info so you can check them out:

Backer Surveys will be sent out after I have a confirmed shipping quote and will include the option to buy add ons like digital copies and extra merch!

Again I am so incredibly grateful to be funded, I'm so excited to finish editing the book and sharing it with you lovely folks. Here is a rough timeline of where we go from here:

• Waiting for the money! Once I get it I will pay my darling artist friends who helped with the merch.
• Finish editing the book! I still have to input some notes from my sensitivity reader, then it'll go through the line-editing process with a professional :)
• With the finished manuscript I'll be able to get a proof copy of the book, which I'll use for getting the exact price of the shipping.
• Surveys sent out! People will be able to add on additional books, digital copies, and merch. Then I'll begin ordering the books and merch! Shipping price will be charged in this step! 
• Digital copies will go out after all the editing is done in the steps above :D
• Books and merch arrive at my place and I sign for the tiers that got signed copies! I think there will be a way to request which character you want me to draw, and also if you want me to personalize it with your name <3
• Shipping!! I've shipped things on this scale before for fanzine projects so I'm pretty used to the mess and chaos of it.
• Books are in your hands! And I go back to writing book two ;)
